Ngai Otieno


Ngai Otieno joined the law firm of Avery Dooley & Noone in March of 2008. An Associate in the firm, Mr. Otieno’s practice focuses on representing federal civilian employees and law enforcement personnel in a broad range of employment-related matters, including:

  • Office of Special Counsel Investigations
  • Whistleblower Matters
  • Discrimination Claims
  • Arbitrations and Mediations

Mr. Otieno has represented employees in cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board. In addition to federal employment law, his practice includes estate planning, insurance defense, and general civil litigation.

While attending law school, Mr. Otieno held a seat on the Executive Board as Treasurer for the Black Law Student Association focusing on planning, organizing, and budgeting student events and mentoring first-year students. He also pursued international studies at Lund University in Lund, Sweden.
